Colonic Hydrotherapy (Colonic Irrigation) in Bristol and Devizes, Wiltshire
My name is Katherine Brooke and I began practising Colonic Hydrotherapy (Irrigation) in 2005. I was initially trained at the National College of Holistic Medicine in Poole, Dorset by Dr. Milo Siewert MD (Mex) MACH RT ND MT, with further study completed at the European School of Colonic Hydrotherapy in Chard, Somerset.I hold a full qualification in Colonic Hydrotherapy. I also have a B.A. (Hons) Degree in Traditional Acupuncture and I have studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading.
Today, more and more people are choosing Colonic Hydrotherapy either to maintain good health or as a way to help them overcome the many unpleasant symptoms caused by digestive disorders. It is a wonderfully simple treatment, with enormous health benefits. I understand that making that first appointment can be daunting, so you need to find a therapist with whom you feel safe and comfortable. Please read the Colonic Irrigation Testimonials and I am sure you will find their content both interesting and reassuring.
Obviously no therapist can guarantee an outcome for a client, but years of experience has taught me that having a course of Colonic Hydrotherapy (Irrigation) can really help with all manner of physical and emotional problems including IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), Constipation, Diarrhoea, Bloating, Headaches, Depression and Menstrual problems, to name a few.
As no two people are the same, it is impossible to predict how you might feel following a course of treatment, but generally my clients report the following improvements:
As a practitioner, I have regular treatments myself, however, the first time I had a colonic, like lots of people, I was very nervous. My mind had been running riot with unpleasant scenarios! When it came to it, I was amazed at how dignified the procedure was, especially given the nature of the treatment. The most common question I am asked is “Does it hurt?” I have to say that it is a very peculiar experience, but I have never found it to be painful. Like me, most of my clients are surprised that they find the treatment quite pleasant and the benefits are a huge bonus!
I really hope that these few words have put your mind at ease about having Colonics. For information on charges, availability and booking procedure, please go to Appointments.
