My name is Katherine Brooke and I began practising Colonic Hydrotherapy in 2005. I was initially trained at the National College of Holistic Medicine in Poole, Dorset by Dr. Milo Siewert MD (Mex) MACH RT ND MT, with further study completed at the European School of Colonic Hydrotherapy in Chard, Somerset.

I hold a full qualification in Colonic Hydrotherapy.

I also have a B.A. (Hons) Degree in Traditional Acupuncture and I have studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading.

As a practitioner, I have regular treatments myself, however, the first time I had a colonic, like lots of people, I was very nervous. My mind had been running riot with unpleasant scenarios! When it came to it, I was amazed at how dignified the procedure was, especially given the nature of the treatment. The most common question I am asked is “Does it hurt?” I have to say that it is a very peculiar experience, but I have never found it to be painful. Like me, most of my clients are surprised that they find the treatment quite pleasant and the benefits are a huge bonus!
